Abercrombie Sale!

Thanks to one of my home girls, texting me this morning asking for a good recommendation for an oatmeal colored cardigan, I would have never seen that Abercrombie is having a 60% off sale. It is one of my new favorite online places to shop. They have some new and old stuff in this sale.

After the drawn out over publicized Nordstrom Sale I was going to cut myself off from any clothes shopping for a bit AND now I can’t because what a deal!

Here are a few items I ended up putting in my shopping cart today.

The henley tank will be perfect for showing off the bralette trend and I can’t pass up a great cardigan, I actually don’t have one in oatmeal so I’ll be twinning my friend. 🙂 I’ve been wanting a good shirt dress and at this price I had to have it! The cami is another great layering piece for the bralette trend and will be super cute under a cozy cardigan.

There are also some of my go-to basics in the sale too! I have this muscle tank in both the light pink and navy stripes and now they are marked down to $7.20 and the tee is also only $7.20

There is really so much good stuff in this sale and I wish I could buy it all! Go check out the sale and comment what you ended up purchasing!

How to be Trendy for less

I definitely like to incorporate some of the seasons latest trends into my wardrobe. Just cause I’m a mama doesn’t mean I don’t want to rock the latest fruit print tees or bell sleeve tops but let’s be honest after the season is over it’s just going to hang in your closet for years collecting dust because you can’t bring yourself to part with since I t was kinda expensive and it might some day come back in style.

Well I think I found a great place to get the latest trend but WAY cheap! I know you get what you pay for so the quality is hit in miss and some times the sizing can be trick but hey, you can’t beat a $40 dupe tee for $5! I’m taking about the website SheIn. Just to make it clear I’m not affiliated with them (though if they reached out I would be cool with it 😉 )

For example, I’ve been eyeing this watermelon tee ever since I saw a fellow blogger rock it a few weeks ago but it was from Urban Outfitter for $40! It’s cute but it ain’t that cute… ok maybe it is that cute but work with me here. So I hoped over to SheIn typed in watermelon shirt and bam!! Dupe! The shirt itself is awesome too! Super soft and not shear. I’m not saying every find is a gold star but this one was, for sure!

Now when the fruit trend fades and I’m not in the mood to sport a giant watermelon collar I can feel ok about taking it to the Goodwill or even sell it for a couple a bucks at a garage sale, instead of holding on to it with the hopes of it coming back in style, I’m young enough to pull it off, or fit it because I spent $40 on a tshirt!

With the site SheIn I do recommend going to it with the intent to finds something specific because it’s a black hole of cheap colors that can add up quick if you’re not careful… I may know this from experience 🙈 Also like I mentioned sizing is tricky. If I’m unsure I size up and that’s worked best for me. Nothing worse than thinking you are a size small then getting it in the mail trying it on and looking like a popped open can of biscuits. I’ve heard returning can be a bit of a hassle so chose wisely and honestly with the price tag I’ve had no problem just selling it to consignment shops then dealing with the return process.

So yes there are cons but I still think it’s a great way to purchase the latest trend.

The Momiform – Distressed Jeans and T-Shirt

This jeans are true to size

A t-shirt and jeans! On an everyday basis, I live in comfy, worn in jeans, that I only wash if I get something crusted on them. Yes, that sounds gross but it’s the truth. It could be anything; food; baby spit up; children’s boogers; who knows?!? But when they reach that point, that is when they go into the wash. I have a love hate relationship with just washed jeans. I love the fresh and clean smell of just-washed jeans, and if I’m lucky I can put them on right out of the dryer. Ha! Ok, that almost never happens so let me clarify: The dryer has just stopped for the third time after I restarted it to keep the wrinkles out, so I get to put on jeans that are warm. 🙂

I hate them because they are a bit tight on the waist making me feel a bit blah with this postpartum bod, but at the same time, I kind of like them tight. It is weird I know.

These are my all-time favorites right now!

Size up with these jeans! I normally wear a 4 and these are a 6

Now tees, I am a big fan of a cute graphic tee with an awesome saying or quote. However, when I just want something super simple I have discovered these shirts from Abercrombie (I wear a size small). I recommend buying them when they are on sale, I have been able to purchase these t-shirts when they are only $10. The white shirt is not, I repeat NOT, see through! It looks great so I am a big fan! It has a boxy appearance when you lay it flat, but when it’s on, it drapes perfectly. One thing I am not sure of is its length. It is a good length for me but I am only 5’3 on a good day, so it may be short for a person with a longer torso. I am also a fan of the tees from Target (I wear a size medium).

These jeans are true to size

Here are some shops that have super soft comfy graphic tees that I enjoy as well!
