My Try-On And Favs From Universal Threads At Target

Hey ladies! I headed to Target today, as fast as I could, to try on some of the items from the new Universal Threads line. I was surprised that on launch day there were so many items not in my size! There was a bunch of items online that I couldn’t find in-store as well. In this post I’m going to show you some of the items I was able to get my hands on and some of my favorites I found online.

Two things I want to mention before I dive in. One, though the line seems to really promote their denim, I didn’t really see much that was worth my time. Two, I was told by the sales associate that the line has a one year warranty! Meaning any piece from the line has a warrant for a whole year, if it stretches out, fades, rips, you name it, you can take it back and get it replaced! How awesome is that?!?!?!

You are going to see a lot of button-up tops and knotted tops because, well, I just loved them all. This button up, I tried on, will be great for the Spring! I love the stripes, of course, and you can wear it several ways. Just untucked, half tucked or knot the front!

Let’s just get all the button up tops out of the way! This white button up has a texture to it and comes knotted but you definitely¬†don’t have to knot it. I’m wearing a medium here but would prefer it to be smaller for a more fitted look.

I’m thinking this top would look super cute for the Summer months with some cute distressed jean shorts.

Next up is a cozy sweater with a front knot. Honestly when I saw it online I wasn’t impressed, thinking it was going to be very boxy and unflattering. After trying it on, I’m totally diggin it! A great Winter to Spring transtional sweater perfect with jeans or shorts.

Another knotted top coming at you! I love the color BUT not on my flabby white arms…eeekkkk. Only my tan toned Summer arms it will look great! ;p It also comes in black if you are afraid the mustard color wouldn’t be the most flattering.

Finally something without buttons or knots, instead…..STRIPESSS!!! hahaha. Ok you know it wouldn’t be me if I didn’t have a bold striped top in this try-on. This is a cute trendy top, another fun Spring top.

Last thing I was able to try-on today was this dress. The first time I saw it I thought it would be PERFECT for our Spring beach trip we have planned! If you have been following me on Instagram, I’ve been posting a lot on styling simple dresses serveral ways and I can totally see doing the same with this one. Putting a cute basic tee under it or getting the knotted white button top and putting it over top! SO totally worth the investment.

Now, I’m going to leave you with a few more amazing pieces from the collection. They have not only clothes but great accessories like jewelry, bandanas, scarfs and handbags, not to mention shoes. I’m excited to see what they continue to come out with. I love the classic and basic vibe of the new Universal Threads line.
