9 month postpartum update- baby number 3

I was hoping when time came to write this post that I was going to be in the best shape and be right on track to being where I was before getting pregnant with baby number three.

Well that’s not the case, I’m still holding on to about 5 lbs and I’m definitely not eating well and exercising. I’m a little disappointed in myself that I just can’t get a good routine going. I’ve probably worked out 3 times a week if I’m lucky and the family in a whole is at an all time low when it comes to good eating. Especially when it comes to dinner time. A lot of eating fast food after a long day.

As for just me, I find myself missing meals and then when I do eat it’s not the healthiest.

Exercise, whats that? All summer long I told myself that I’ll get in a better routine once the kids are in school, well it’s almost December and I’m still feel all over the place. My whole life needs to get on a better routine! Exercise is the last thing I think to get done. I really just need to tough it out and do it. I think it’s all mental right now in life. I know I can do it, I’m just kinda in an emotional funk right now.

So this is it my 9 month postpartum update, physical I have not changed since 6 months postpartum. Life happens and I’m truly hoping to get out of this funk because I enjoy living a healthy life style and I’m not getting any younger and though I’m by no means in need of weight loss gravity and age is not helping this 30 something postpartum mom skin.

On to the cutie patootie known as Maxwell! He’s doing great, he’s a big “juicy” baby and I believe the happy baby boy of mine came in our lives at the perfect moment. He truly makes a sad day a little better with just a smile. He is a pretty good nap taker and great night-time sleeper. On a “bad” night he wakes up once, he drinks a bottle and goes right back to sleep. He has found his main form of movement to be the low crawl, he hasn’t started pulling himself up and he doesn’t choose to sit up though he can. He now had a total of six teeth! Crazy right?! Right now he’s your typical 9 month old and we love him to pieces.
